Last Sunday evening, the 54th Annual Grammy Awards was all a glow even as the mood of celebrities was saddened by Whitney Houston’s death. In true music industry style, the attendees arrived on the red carpet in all types of styles as the fashion police patrolled the scene. Who is wearing what and how they are wearing it is always a hot topic. This year in the hairstyle category, celebrities were on and off-key with their tresses. Here are some of them that we made note of this year.
The full ensemble. Slick on the sides, but teased in all out curls in the back is how Kelly Rowland wore her teased tresses at the Grammys. This hairstyle was in perfect harmony with her long eyelashes. With just the right amount of bling, her earrings put the entire look together.
The blue note. This look turned heads, and not just for the hairstyle. Katy Perry showed-up in a blue gown, and her updo dusted in blue hues. Blue or red, Katy Perry hit these notes perfectly.
Seductive 60s. Adele stayed in tune with her 60s style. Her blond, wavy tresses were lovely and just the right length. Her black dress was a lovely contrast to her light skin and dark lipstick.
Successories and surprises. Lady Gaga arrived in true Gaga style. She dressed up her black as night Chanel gown with silver chains. For an added affect, she wore a veil like net over her face. From the Jersey Shore, Snooki was all a “bow” with a large, black bow in her side ponytail.
