Hot Hairstyles From The 68th Annual Golden Globes

Hot Hairstyles From The 68th Annual Golden Globe AwardsThis past Sunday evening, the red carpet was all a flutter at the 68th Annual Golden Globes Awards in Beverly Hills, California. Even if you didn’t know who was nominated for best actress or best movie, the red carpet was an even bigger hit in the hairstyle category. Some of the hairstyles that flipped, and flopped, were on full display.

Sandra Bullock surprised me with the bangs that covered her entire forehead, and even some of her eyes. This was not a good look for her, it hid her beautiful features. I feel that an away from the face hairstyle would have been the best for her, but that it is not my department. Now, on to some celebrity hairstyles that won me over!

Short and sexy. Celebrity mom Halle Berry wore more than just her tresses short at the Golden Globes. Her dress revealed the hard work this actress puts into her physique. She can definitely wear it well. From her pixie hairstyle to her short skirt. A few hair shades lighter and not as short, Michelle Williams looked fantastic in her short hairstyle. The blonde color of hair went perfectly with her cream gown.

Long and away. Anne Hathaway and Vanessa Williams looked beautiful with their dark locks away from their faces and parted down the middle. Heidi Klum also had her beautiful blonde tresses in long, lose curls away from her face and parted down the middle. She really let her dark roots show, a serious trend in Hollywood circles these days. Jane Krakowski looked so stunning in her blonde locks, flipped away from her face. The blue of her dress not only showed us her baby bump, but complimented her beautiful blue eyes. Martha Christana definitely made things hotter on the red carpet. Her long hair was also parted down the middle, with thick round curls. This went perfectly with her fiery red gown.

Lose bangs with a bun. Carrrie Underwood, Clair Danes and Heather Morris, wore their bangs lose and parted to the side. Their usually visible long locks were held back in a bun. This lose look was sleek and complimentary to their beautiful make-up and features. One of my favorite actresses, Natalie Portman, took her “Black Swan” role and dressed up her hair in a bun. Her bangs, lose and parted to the side, looked magnificent.

What hairstyle did you like the best?

I’m not overly crazy about modern hairstyles, especially when they’re at the height of fashion. 😛 I do like Claire Danes look though. Very pretty and feminine!

Bangs are always the trickiest style to get right… either you get that nice wispy look… or GASP that horrid helmet look…

I agree with Eve–January Jones look is classic (reminded me of Veronica Lake)
Natalie Portman & Eva Longoria looked lovely, also.
Dianna Agron looked pretty with the clip in her hair.
I thought Clare Danes looked nice, too.

I love the long and away look in general. And I have to agree that bangs can either make or break a style.
